Written for Cookie Rocks 2.9.14, checked on 5 November 2026. The current version is 2.11.2: some details may have changed.
Cookie Rocks works with Divi 5. It is tested on a live Divi site: the version tested is in the Compatibility table of the Developers page, marked Tested on a live site.
Set it up in 3 steps
- Open your cookie policy page in Divi. In a module that shows text, such as a Text or Code module, type
[cookie_rocks_policy]. Cookie Rocks writes the policy there. - Open Cookie Rocks, Consent. Choose this page as Cookie policy page, then click Save Changes.
- Add links to your privacy policy and your cookie policy in the footer of your site, so that they are on every page.
Tip. After adding a video, a map or a form in a Divi module, click Scan my pages on the Cookies page.
What the Audit checks
- The scan reads your Divi pages as a visitor receives them. Videos, maps and scripts placed in Divi modules are found like any other.
- When a Divi contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA or hCaptcha, the Cookies page lists it, with what it does before the visitor chooses.
- When the scan also reads the code of your theme and plugins, it leaves out the files of the Divi editor. They only serve the people who edit the site, not your visitors. The cookies and stored items of the Divi builder and of WordPress drafts (et-*-post-*, et_pb_templates_*, wp-autosave-* and others) are never asked to be classified. The cookies of Divi’s display conditions, divi_module_views and divi_post_visit (“Number of Views” and “Page Visit”), are proposed under Preferences, and the et_pb_ab_* cookies of Divi’s A/B tests under Statistics. The acf key of Advanced Custom Fields forms is proposed under Preferences.

Limits
A video or a map that a script creates after the page has loaded is not in the page the scan reads. Check such content by hand.
