For agencies

Every client site. One plugin.

start free, on any site

A shop, a SaaS, a local business: one plugin handles the consent of each client site, and one account holds all your keys. Start with the free Audit on any site.

Agency · Developer · Webmaster · Freelancer

It is not your site. But you probably handle its data.

If you host a site, maintain it or run its forms, you usually handle personal data on your client’s behalf. The role depends on what you really do, not on the title in a contract.

What to do

These steps follow the rules in the EU and the UK. Elsewhere the rules differ, but the steps remain good practice.

  • Sign a contract with each clientYour client needs a written contract with you, and electronic is fine. It describes the work you really do: copying the law is not enough.
  • Keep a record of your client workYou keep a record of the work you do for each client. Regular maintenance counts as regular work, so the exception for small businesses rarely applies.
  • List your own providersYour host, your e-mail tool and your freelancers work for you. Your client authorises them, and you bind them to the same duties by contract. A short list, kept up to date, covers most of this.
  • Agree on what happens if data leaksYou tell your client about any breach without undue delay, whatever the risk. Your client decides whether to tell the authority. Agree in advance on a contact and a delay in hours.
  • Keep their data for their workReusing a client’s list for another campaign makes you responsible for that use. Your own site, prospects and invoices are yours to answer for.

Turn it into a service.

A contract, a list of providers and a breach contact: three simple documents that show your client you take care of this.

Cookie Rocks takes care of the cookie side of each site: the banner, the cookie policy and the proof of consent. See Good to know on each country page. Your clients’ documents

One plugin for every kind of client

Same plugin, one account. Each site gets the rules and the features it needs.

A shop selling across Europe

Visitors are asked first, in their language: 54 languages, and the banner follows Polylang or WPML. Ad pixels wait for a yes, while the cart and the payment keep working. For shops

A SaaS selling in the UK and Brazil

One setting: each visitor gets the rules that apply to them. Google Ads receives the right signals, and Cookie Rocks is never priced by visitor, so a launch never costs more. For SaaS

A small local business

Just statistics or a Google font? It still has its local rules. Statistics wait for a yes where the law asks. Pro copies the Google Fonts it finds to the site, so visitors’ addresses stop going to Google for them. For business sites

What Pro does on every site

Trackers wait

Known tools are held until the visitor agrees where the law asks for it, and released at once, without a reload. Only captchas need one.

Nothing looks broken

Videos and maps wait behind a placeholder, and forms keep working.

Proof you can hand over

Each choice is recorded on the client’s own site, ready to show when someone asks.

Priced by the key

Never by visitor or page view. A client who grows pays the same.

The Audit, on a client site

No account

Free forever. It works next to any consent plugin, and for the most common ones it reads the settings.

Their countries

Four questions about the site, then what the rules of its countries ask of it, each point marked done, to do or for information. 248 jurisdictions, in plain words.

Their cookies

A scan lists the tools found on the pages, what loads before any choice, and the cookies the site sets, with their duration.

Nothing for visitors

The Audit adds nothing to visitors’ pages, except the cookie policy where you place it.

Keys for your clients

From 10 keys, the more sites, the lower the price, for every key.

10 to 24 keys$16€16 per key
25 to 49 keys$12€12 per key

All your keys in one place, each with its domain and its renewal date.

A key per client site

A key locks to the first site that activates it. Assign a domain in advance, or move it up to 3 times a year.

Card or invoice

Pay by card, or by invoice and bank transfer. Enter your VAT or business number at checkout.

30 days free

Try the complete plugin on a client site.

no card, no catch

Every feature, every update and support, for 30 days. Setting it up takes a few minutes; the month gives you time to get the purchase through your accounting.

  • During the trial: everything, including the full settings and the scans
  • After 30 days without a key: the banner, your visitors’ choices and your proofs of consent keep working
  • What waits for a key: most settings, updates and support
