Cookie consent for Essential Addons for Elementor
sticky videos wait too
Essential Addons for Elementor adds many widgets, and some of them contact other sites as the page loads. Its Sticky Video widget builds a YouTube player with a script, so YouTube loads before any choice. Cookie Rocks holds it until the visitor agrees.

What Essential Addons adds to your visitors’ browser
No trackers In our test of Essential Addons for Elementor 6.8.8 on 7 November 2026, the plugin itself added no tracker and no cookie. What you place in your pages with it, such as a video or a map, still counts.
What matters for consent with Essential Addons
Sticky Video is held
The Sticky Video widget builds a YouTube or Vimeo player with a script, without an iframe in the page. Cookie Rocks turns it into an ordinary held video. After the visitor accepts, it loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced address without a reload.
Sticky only after consent
While YouTube is held, the video does not stick to the screen as the visitor scrolls. That comes back once the visitor agrees.
Widgets that call other sites
Login | Register can load reCAPTCHA or Cloudflare Turnstile. The Typeform widget loads Typeform on page load. Business Reviews shows reviewer photos from Google’s servers.
Galleries wait for the click
Videos in the Filterable Gallery open only on click, with a privacy mode and a consent notice option of their own.

Good to know · Essential Addons for ElementorEssential Addons sets cookies only after a login or registration form
- Login | Register without AJAX: eael_login_error_<id>, eael_register_errors_<id>, eael_lr_otp_token_<id>.
- A cached login page that ignores these cookies may show another visitor's step.
- Evergreen Countdown: eael_countdown_evergreen_time_<id> and _interval_<id> in localStorage.
- Self-hosted Sticky Videos: plyr in localStorage.

Full detail
Essential Addons sets cookies only after a Login | Register form is sent without AJAX: eael_login_error_<id> and eael_register_errors_<id> (session, deleted once shown) and eael_lr_otp_token_<id> (minutes, for a one-time code step); the widget reads them in PHP, so a cached login page that ignores them may show another visitor's step. Its evergreen Countdown keeps eael_countdown_evergreen_time_<id> and _interval_<id> in localStorage, and Plyr keeps 'plyr' in localStorage for self-hosted Sticky Videos.
Set before the choice · Essential Addons for ElementorCookie Rocks holds the Essential Addons Sticky Video until consent
Without a banner that handles it, YouTube loads before the choice and sets cookies. Since 2.5.0 Cookie Rocks holds it, then loads it from youtube-nocookie.com without a reload. It is not sticky while held.
Seen in our tests, 16 October 2026, Essential Addons for Elementor 6.8.6.
Full detail
The Sticky Video widget of Essential Addons writes YouTube and Vimeo as a <div data-plyr-provider> with no iframe; its bundled Plyr 3.7.8 builds the player in JavaScript on page load. Without a banner that handles it, www.youtube.com/iframe_api and www.youtube.com/embed load before the choice and YouTube sets YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA, __Secure-YNID and __Secure-ROLLOUT_TOKEN. Since 2.5.0 Cookie Rocks replaces the Plyr element with an ordinary held iframe: after Accept all the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com without a reload. The sticky behaviour does not work while YouTube is held.
