nothing leaves before the click

← Cookie Rocks for your stack

What matters for consent with Click to Chat

Nothing reaches Meta first

Before the click, the button is part of your page. No request goes to Meta and no WhatsApp cookie is set.

The click is the choice

Tapping the button opens WhatsApp. The visitor decides to go there, so there is nothing to hold before it.

Storage on your site only

Click to Chat keeps a small entry in the browser’s storage for its own state. It stays on your domain.
